After the Kentucky-UConn game produced a near-sellout crowd last week, UK coach John Calipari says Madison Square Garden officials approached him about moving one game each season to the Garden.  And in our interview before the UK-Indiana game on the Big Blue Sports Network last Saturday, coach Cal said he's open to the idea:

"We owned the building--which was incredible, playing UConn.  The Garden people grabbed me right after and said 'let's move a home game up here'.  That would be something I'd have an interest in.  That's what Duke does, every year or every other year.  They try to play in the Garden and make it their building and they do."

The NYC Kentucky Alumni loved hosting everyone and it would be amazing to have a chance to have this happen every year.

Make this happen!!! I was among the UK fans at the UConn game and it was electric. No doubt we would fill The Garden every year.

Sounds like a great idea to me. It would definitely help recruiting in New York.
