Tom's Take: Wall wows Big Apple

When a player gets as much hype as John Wall coming into college, it's hard for him to live up to that billing. But Wall is making quite a run at it. Yes, he still makes too many turnovers and his coach says he has too many "casual" plays (where he doesn't go hard enough after a loose ball) but Wall has the look of being the best game-on-the-line player at Kentucky since Kyle Macy, the man Cawood Ledford and Ralph Hacker dubbed "Mr. Cool from Peru, Indiana." Kentucky looks a lot more average whenever Wall is out of the game for any long stretches and that's one area the Cats will need to address between now and March but there's no denying that Wall is as good as advertised.
