To rule out Kentucky would be foolish.  They are with a bunch of other teams that people are not projecting to win the national championship and they definitely can--doesn't mean they win, but they can, because they've got the ability to get hot and win a bunch of games and they can be a matchup problem for a lot of teams."

We also talked with Florida radio network analyst Mark Wise and he said the loss of reserve forward Will Yeguete to a knee injury could have a significant impact on the Gators' defense.  He says Yeguete is Florida's most versatile defender, with the ability to guard both post players and perimeter opponents.  Wise says the Gators excel at keeping opponents out of the middle of the floor and when opposing players get to the lane, Patric Young has become a much better shotblocker than last season.
