Tom's Take: Wall ball

Kentucky is talented and big and long and fast and deep but the number one thing the Wildcats have going in their favor as a national title contender is John Wall.  I've never been around Lebron James or Michael Jordan but from watching them, I have always thought their athletic ability is equaled by their passion for winning and work ethic and Wall appears to be that kind of player.  You see him take over games at key moments time and time again and you see a player that is determined to keep his team from losing and also has the skills to do something about it.  He did it again today against Alabama, scoring seven straight points as part of a 17-3 UK run that turned the contest the Cats' way.  But Wall's teammates are going to have to help him carry the load.  Truthfully, the Cats might be able to get past the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament playing the way they are now, but to get to the Final Four, they're playing with fire if they continue to let teams out-fight them as they did today for much of the game against Alabama.
