John Calipari often says it takes crisis to bring about real change. In terms of crisis, this season just moved to Defcon 2--at least. The Cats showed no fight in a 30-point blowout loss to Tennessee and every other SEC team remaining on UK's path sees that blood in the water. This isn't boxing, so nobody is going to stop the fight and this season becomes a test of personal pride.
From a basketball standpoint, Kentucky's two biggest issues are an inability to contain dribble penetration and a lack of offensive cohesiveness. And the Cats must find a way to start addressing them by Wednesday night, as every game in this upcoming three-game home stretch qualifies as a "must win" for UK to make it into the NCAA Tournament field.
